Asana for Salesforce Connector Installation
Download the Asana for Salesforce package for your instance to integrate Asana with Salesforce. To do so, go to the official Salesforce AppExchange site and use the search bar at the top of your screen to look for the ‘Asana for Salesforce’ package. Select ‘Get it now by clicking the link. The access permissions can now be chosen from three options: only admins, particular users, and all users, in a new dialogue box that will now open. Click on install after selecting your preferred option.

Setting up Salesforce Classic's Asana Integration
Asana's setting page component for your Salesforce instance must be added to your Visualforce page in order to begin integrating Asana with Salesforce Classic. Log in to Salesforce Classic with your login information, such as your username and password, to add the component.
Constructing a Visualforce Page layout with the Asana Setting Component
After logging in, navigate to the setup page and use the search box on the left to look up 'tabs.' Create a new Visualforce tab by selecting the tabs option.
Now, the Visualforce setup window will appear. Choose the Asana settings page option from the page drop-down list by clicking on it. Click next after providing a distinctive name and tab style for your new page.
The Salesforce Home Page will now include an Asana Setting Component
The Asana settings page can also be added to your Salesforce home page. Visit the setup page and use the search box on the left to look for ‘home’ to accomplish this. Create a new CTA in the custom components section by selecting the ‘home’ option, ‘home page components,’ and finally ‘option.’
A different name, such as ‘Asana Settings,’ must be provided in order to build your component. Choose the ‘Visualforce Area’ component type.

Integrating Asana with Salesforce Lightning

Choosing a Workspace in Asana and Adding Components

You must now pick an Asana Workspace. To do so, go to the advanced settings panel on the right and click the pencil symbol to select an Asana Workspace. Make sure to select an Enterprise or Business Tier workspace when choosing a workspace.
After selecting the workspace, you must add the Asana for Salesforce component to the object record page for both task and project views.
Configuring Salesforce Classic Workspace and Components
If you want to add it to your Salesforce Classic object record page, go to the setup option and select the build option. Select opportunities from the build menu, then page layout.
Select the ‘Visualforce Pages’ option from the opportunity layout box in the left sidebar. Drag the Asana opportunity box to any position in the green box that appears on your screen.

Salesforce Lightning Workspace and Component Configuration
To add it to your Salesforce Lightning object record page, navigate to the gearbox and select the edit page option from the drop-down list.
Select the lightning components option from the sidebar on the left. Navigate to custom in the lightning component option list and manage custom options.
Choose Asana task and project as the managed package and business as the unmanaged package.
You must now drag and drop the package onto your screen, creating a green box. After you've added it, click Save to activate your changes. The activation page will now appear; click the 'Assign as org' option to save your settings. Here you go, this is how you integrate Asana with Salesforce.
