Adding opportunities to the Engagement Studio lists also adds them to other related engagement programs, if applicable.

  • View Advanced Email Analytics for Email Reports on Time

Email Data for Emails that are older than 14 months is no longer recorded to be utilized in advanced email metrics on the Interaction and Email Clients tab for the List Email report. You can view all the email engagement metrics regardless of their sending date. The change is due to Pardot’s advanced email integration.

Plan and test configuration changes before you can implement them on your Pardot account with a new Developer Sandbox. The new sandbox is a Pardot Business Unit and is provided from a Salesforce Full Sandbox.

  • Enable Person Account Syncing Without Contacting Support

Earlier, to sync prospects with Salesforce person accounts, you would need to contact Support to enable the functionality. Now, with Person Account Syncing, a Pardot admin can turn on the functionality without contacting Salesforce Support.

Simplify workflows for marketing users by enabling the Handlebars Merge Language (HML) for new Pardot accounts. This brings the latest language merge to users and helps to provide easy integration with Sales Cloud. Now the admins can manually upgrade their Pardot accounts to HML.

  • Manage Pardot Users with Salesforce

Now you can assign users to Pardot and manage them with Salesforce Pardot Summer ’20 Features. Salesforce has added enhancements to Salesforce User Sync that make it easier than ever to manage your users.

How: How you can now take advantage of this change depends on when your business or account unit was created, and if the Salesforce User Sync is already in action or not.

In accounts that were enabled with Salesforce User Sync before the Summer ’20 release: First, assign users from Salesforce Setup, and then transfer the user management control to Salesforce from Salesforce User Sync settings in Pardot.

In accounts that were created before the Summer ’20 release that don’t have Salesforce User Sync enabled: First assign users from Salesforce Setup, then enable Salesforce User Sync in Pardot.

In accounts and business units created after the Summer ’20 release: Assign users from Salesforce Setup.

  • Upgrade to the latest version of Salesforce-Pardot Connector

Upgradation to the latest Salesforce-Pardot connector version allows you to take advantage of many new improvements like the Pardot integration user, Business Unit Switcher, and instant metadata sync.
