Introduction
Hello all, here we are going to learn about freezing the users accounts and deactivating the user account. Sometimes we need to delete some users' accounts in our organization due to some reason but in Salesforce it’s NOT possible. Then we freeze the user account or deactivate the user account.
Important Information
- We can’t delete the user account. So that we have to go for freezing and deactivating the user account.
- For freezing and deactivating the user account we have to login from SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR account.
Freezing the User Account
- Login from system administrator account
- Search ‘user’ in the quick find box.
- Click on the ‘user’.
- Now go to that user account whose account we want to freeze.
- Now click on the ‘freeze’ button which is present on the user account.
- Hence, the user account is now frozen so the user can’t login using it’s credentials.
- But, after freezing the user account USER LICENSE CAN’T BE FREE.
- For Example - Here I have frozen the user account from my system administrator org. So he can’t login using his account credentials into the org.
