    hi madhulika,

    YAML (Ain't Markup Language) is a human-readable data serialization language. It is commonly used for configuration files, but could be used in many applications where data is being stored or transmitted.

    Hi,

    I found this online. tell me if I am wrong -

    YAML stands for "YAML Ain't Markup Language" and it is used extensively in Grav for its configuration files, blueprints, and also in page settings. YAML is to configuration what markdown is to markup. It's basically a human-readable structured data format.
