Yeah, 'Salesforce API Fieldnames’ chrome extension helps me too. It's a small and great extension to toggle between API field names and labels on salesforce detail pages.

Please follow below steps:
- click on setup
- Type objects in quick find box
- Choose "Objects"
- click on any custom object available at there.
- You can find "API Name" at there.
