    Tab in Salesforce is User-Interface which navigate you to the data of object or you can say that tab expose the functionality of object.

    A tab is like a user interface that is used to build records for objects and to view the records in the objects. There are three types of tabs in Salesforce: Custom object tab. Web tab. Visualforce tab.

    ------>Custom object tab
    ----->Web tab
    ------>Visualforce tab
    Tabs are used to modify the records like create,view,update,delete the records.
    Tabs are created for each object

    A Tab in Salesforce is kind of like a doorway to your data. It lets you access different objects in your Salesforce org - think of things like Accounts, Contacts, or any custom objects you've created. So, when you click on a tab, it's like you're stepping into a world full of data related to that particular object.
