    Professional edition does not support API access therefore dataloader is not supported.

    You can use Dataloader.io to import data but again the limit is of 50000 records per month.

    @SFDCHacker @Audrey Salesforce usually grants you free API access for a limited period when you purchase the license - Professional Edition. So you can definitely use Data Loader in PE, but make sure to complete your migration within the given timeframe or else you would need to pay for getting the API access later.

    Talk to your sales rep or account exec to enable the API access.
