Where to use ISBLANK and ISNULL, make it clear please?

I am not clear where to use ISBLANK and ISNULL, as both functions are almost same functionality, so please make it clear.

Hi Tanu,
ISBLANK has the same functionality as ISNULL, but also supports text fields.ISNULL mainly use for check the numeric values.
