How to send an email to distribution list and update contact owner to account when record is created
I have a process builder which sends an email to the distribution list and updates contact owner to account owner when record is created. This works if I create a record using admin, but not with Sales(custom) profile. It updates the owner field but does not trigger the email alert. Please help.

Till now we can not send email to distribution List as per my knowledge...
I think there is already an Idea on this topic in the Salesforce IdeaExchange. You can vote for it.
