New Salesforce Agentforce Accelerator Empowers Nonprofits for Greater Impact

Salesforce has launched the Agentforce Accelerator for Impact, an initiative to help nonprofits harness Agentforce, an innovative AI layer on the Salesforce Platform. This technology allows organizations to create and deploy AI agents capable of autonomously performing a range of functions across business operations.

The Agentforce Accelerator will provide nonprofits with technology, funding, and specialized guidance to develop customized AI solutions, aiming to enhance their operational efficiency and community impact in an AI-driven future.

Purpose of the Salesforce Agentforce Accelerator

With workforce shortages and burnout challenging organizations, AI agents offer critical support, helping teams drive impactful projects and address pressing global issues.

These AI agents provide continuous, 24-hour support, allowing NGOs to tackle ongoing challenges like poverty, disaster response, hunger, and climate change.

By managing tasks such as donor engagement, logistics, and volunteer coordination, AI agents enable nonprofits to deepen their community impact.

Scaling Success | Nonprofits Using Agentforce to Drive Change

Nonprofits from past Salesforce accelerator programs are already using Agentforce to amplify their impact.

  • College Possible uses AI agents to support college coaches and students by tracking resources, deadlines, and financial aid applications, providing 24/7 assistance.
  • Good360 deploys agents to improve its disaster response systems, ensuring that donated items reach those in need efficiently, minimizing waste and emissions.
  • Per Scholas, agents are utilized to aid students and coaches in resume building, laying a foundation for professional growth.

How the Salesforce Agentforce Accelerator Works

The Accelerator provides selected nonprofits with $2 million in grants and a two-year package of Salesforce tools, helping them build effective AI-driven agent solutions.

The chosen organizations will also receive six months of intensive coaching from Salesforce experts, twelve months of individualized support on AI, product design, and solution architecture, and strategic alignment with Salesforce products to maximize impact.

Nonprofits from any sector can apply to join the accelerator by November 19, 2024, with selected participants to be notified by March 2025.

Salesforce’s Vision

“This accelerator empowers organizations to deploy AI-powered agents that supplement their teams, improve efficiency, and make a real difference at scale,” says Suzanne DiBianca, EVP and Chief Impact Officer at Salesforce.
