    Hello Shradha,

Hard Bounce – A hard bounce is an e-mail message that is returned to the sender because the recipient’s address is invalid or the domain doesn’t exist.

Soft Bounce – A soft bounce is an e-mail message that gets as far as the recipient’s mail server but is bounced back undelivered before it gets to the intended recipient. It tries to send it back again and again after every 15 minutes for 72 hours till the email is delivered properly.

    Hi,

A soft bounce message may be deliverable at another time or may be forwarded manually by the network administrator in charge of redirecting mail on the recipient's domain. A Hard Bounce is an email that permanently bounced back to the sender because the address is invalid.

    Hope this helps.
