    Can auto response rule be created for email services as Salesforce gets the mail and later another mail will be sent to recipient with the response?

    Hi,

    Create auto-response rules for leads captured through a Web-to-Lead form and for cases submitted through a:

    • Self-Service portal
    • Customer Portal
    • Web-to-Case form
    • Email-to-Case message
    • On-Demand Email-to-Case message

    Auto -response rules are not supported for email service. You can try with writing a workflow rule on EmailMessage object. On incoming email, the workflow should fire and shoot out an email in response.
