    What is the difference between using Dependent lookup Field and Controlling/Dependent picklist Field in salesforce?

    Hi,

    Both Dependent Lookup Field and Controlling/Dependent picklist Field are same. The only difference is that, That  Controlling field is the ‘parent’ that controls which values are available in the ‘dependent’ picklist.

    They are the same thing. The Controlling field is the ‘parent’ that controls which values are available in the ‘dependent’ picklist.
