There are four different types of page layouts in Salesforce:
1) Page Layout: It monitors the layout of an object.
2) Mini Page Layout: It is the subset of the units which are already present in page layouts.
3) Search Layout: It is used to display the fields of an object in various result lists.
4) Compact Layout: It displays record's important fields at a glimpse.
