MemberMarch 16, 2021 at 3:44 PM in reply to: How Multi-Factor Authentication Works in Salesforce ?MFA requires users to prove they’re who they say they
are by providing two or more pieces of evidence – or
factors – when they log in.
One factor is something the user knows, such as
their username and password combination. Other
factors are verification methods that the user has,
such as an authenticator app or security key.
By tying user access to multiple, different types
of factors, it’s much harder for a bad actor to
gain entry to your Salesforce environment. Even
if a user’s password is stolen, the odds are very
low that an attacker can guess or impersonate a
factor that a user physically possesses. -

MemberMarch 16, 2021 at 3:40 PM in reply to: What Is Multi-Factor Authentication in Salesforce ?MFA is an effective way to increase protection for user accounts against common threats like phishing attacks, credential stuffing, and account takeovers. It adds another layer of security to your login process by requiring users to enter two or more pieces of evidence — or factors — to prove they’re who they say they are. One factor is something the user knows, such as their username and password combination. Other factors are verification methods that the user has in their possession, such as an authenticator app or security key.

MemberMarch 15, 2021 at 4:32 PM in reply to: Advantages of Duplicate-Free Data in Salesforce ?When your sales reps work with duplicate-free data, there’s no guessing about whether a colleague is already qualifying the same prospect. Also, your reps can count on having all information in one contact record, instead of hunting for more details in a duplicate record.
It’s important that your sales teams feel confident that you’re managing Salesforce and delivering features with your teams’ trust and success in mind. When your CRM system is free of duplicate data, your reps trust that the data is clean and worthwhile. -

Role hierarchy refers to a set of roles in an organization and the relationship between different roles. Role hierarchy opens up vertical-level access to records.
Role hierarchy allows the user sitting in higher level have access of records owned by users having role lower in hierarchy. It helps to extend the OWD settings for different objects. It describes how roles connect to each other.
Users at any role level can view, edit, and report on all data that’s owned by or shared with users below them in their role hierarchy, unless your org’s sharing model for an object specifies otherwise. -

Time-Dependent actions execute at a specific time defined by you, such as sending an Email alert after 24 hours of lead creation if the lead is not contacted. When the specified time passes, workflow rule re-evaluates to check that record still meets the rule criteria.
