What is SFTP in Salesforce Marketing Cloud?

SFTP: SSH File Transfer Protocol. The FTP server uses SFTP as a secure and flexible file transfer protocol. When you use SFTP, Marketing Cloud creates a folder on the FTP server for your organization. This folder is for your organization only, so use a special user ID and password to access the folder.

We can use the SFTP folder to import data into lists and data extensions in Marketing Cloud.
