    Hi Shradha

    You cannot reorder approval steps once they are created, but you can set the step number when creating a new step. Which would allow you to insert a step in an existing Approval Processes, just be sure to get the numbering right.

    Currently, it's not possible to re-order Approval Process steps, You cannot reorder approval steps once they are created, but you can set the step number when creating a new step .

    Hi, we cannot edit or reorder the SF Approval process step number. but while creating a new step if we give the existing step number, SF will rearrange the the steps based on new step number.
    Example: we have 5 steps in existing approval process and i want to add a new step in sequence 2. i create a new step with step number 2 and save. Now Approval process have new step added in seq2 and previous steps moved to 3,4,5,6 consequently.

    The only way to reorder a sequence of Approval steps is to delete one and recreate it, which can be very time-consuming. A mechanism for reordering, either by editing the step number or with a separate reorder option, is needed.
