  • How to Assign permission set to a particular user through an IDE in Salesforce?

    Hi!

I want to assign a permission set to a particular user by directly deploying it though an IDE as an XML file.  How do I assign the set to that user so that it is assigned  automatically after deployment without manually assigning it by going on the permission set settings and managing assignment for that user? Thanks!

From Setup, enter Users in the Quick Find box, then select Users.
    Select a user.
In the Permission Set Assignments related list, click Edit Assignments.
To assign a permission set, select it under Available Permission Sets and click Add. To remove a permission set assignment, select it under Enabled Permission Sets and click Remove.
    Click Save.
