Work Without Meetings?

Salesforce Tried for Another Week.

We're in more meetings than ever.

Salesforce tried to go meeting-free for one week to identify a better way of working.

For the third time, Salesforce encouraged employees to cancel all meetings for a full week.

What we’ve learned about going meeting-free:

1.

3.

Plan, plan, plan.

Encourage teams to find new ways of working.

2.

Create enablement materials for employees.

4.

Align different groups to have the same async week if possible.

Benefits of “async Week”

1.

2.

3.

Well-being and having more control over the workday.

Employees appreciated having time to other daily tasks, training, or think deeply.

Teams learn to set their status and schedule messages to colleagues.

4.

A big benefit was questioning whether you really need a 60-minute meeting.

So, Meeting-free is Great. But no matter how great it is, change is hard.

That doesn’t mean the organization should stop experimenting and refining the approach to find new, bold, better ways to work.

Let us know what do you think about trying this "async week."
