    Hello Anurag,

Standard Reports are the pre-built reports provided by Salesforce. They are more like Report Templates.

You can edit any standard report, make any changes as per requirement and save them with the different name. These are called custom reports.

    Thanks.

    hi,

With a Standard Report, whenever you create a new field, that field will automatically be added to the Standard Report / be available in the Standard Report. Also, when you're selecting the report types, the Standard Reports will give you a little chart visual preview, whereas with a Custom Report, it'll say No Preview Available.

With a Custom Report, if you create a field after the Custom Report Type was created, you will need to manually add the field to the Custom Report Type.

    thanks.

Custom Reports: Admin creates the SalesForce Custom reports for a custom object.

You can add up to 4 layers of objects as long as they have a parent-child relationship

CRT are needed when you have a requirement to report on more objects

Standard report is one created when the object created. And these reports cannot be modified once created.

In standard report whenever you create a new field, that field will automatically be added to the Standard Report / be available in the Standard Report. Also, when you're selecting the report types, the Standard Reports will give you a little chart visual preview.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Standard Reports. A Standard Report presents what we believe is the most important data for any given domain, subdomain or URL in our index, including your own website or that of a competitor. The Standard Report has three main sections - an overview, a backlinks view, and an anchor text view.

Custom Report. A Custom Report is a report that you create. You pick the dimensions (City and Browser, for example) and metrics (Sessions, Pageviews, and Bounce Rate, for example) and decide how they should be displayed. You must specify at least one dimension and one metric.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

Standard reports in salesforce are those provided by salesforce.com. These type of reports can not be deleted and used primarily for creating custom reports.

Custom report is a specialized report of your transactions for a time period that you specify. For example, you can design a report that lists all transactions over a 3-day period for a particular credit card, or a report that lists only particular types of transactions (for example, declined Sales and Authorizations) for all credit cards over a 5-day period.

    Thanks

    Hello,

    Standard Salesforce Reports
A report represents the relationship between primary objects and its related objects. To represent this relationship report has predefined templates which makes reporting easier. Every report displays only those records which meet the criteria.

Salesforce has Standard report type as default report type. Standard report type is present for all salesforce standard objects. For custom objects, Salesforce automatically creates a standard report type using “with”, or “and” relationship.

    Custom Salesforce Reports
The custom report type can be created by selecting the objects of your interest and their relationships. The wizard will give access to all child objects of these selected objects. This type of report can be customized as per user need.

    Thanks.
