This virtual conference squeezed in all the essence of a two-day TrailheaDX experience. Sarah’s keynote address was peppered with a lot of innovative technological announcements, while some executives demonstrated new products that emphasize scalability and connectivity along with technological advancements. Top Announcements of TrailheaDX 2020
1. Anywhere App:
One of the eye-catching announcements at TrailheaDX 2020 was the Salesforce Anywhere App. This Application allows the team to collaborate from anywhere on mobile and desktop devices with better connectivity. It takes the core platform and adds in video calling and chat features so your team can stay updated at every turn. This application is a result of a partnership with Siemens, Tanium, AWS, and Zoom; it will be available by the fourth quarter of this year.
2. Code Builder:
Has immensely worked over the code builder platform to optimize the DevOps management lifecycle. Code Builder is based on Microsoft's Virtual Studio and gives an entirely web-based development platform, along with the addition of VScode and desktop IDE. It makes the environment set up an easy task and gives developers all the authorization of the organization's landing pages and custom links without manually signing in. It is also loaded with all the cutting-edge tools required for active development like Aura, Apex debuggers, and custom LWC.
3. Einstein Recommendation:
Employees can now learn and develop their skills with a simple and effective solution. The Einstein recommendation is now integrated with Trailhead to recommend the user training courses and programs based on their job roles and activities. The more the user uses Trailhead, the smarter, and on the point, Einstein's recommendation becomes.
4. Data Privacy Manager:
The Data Privacy manager provides an added layer of security to the user's data. It has 17 different consent objects required to be compliant with to access any authorized function or data. It is a lightweight solution that can delete, anonymize, or port the data. Data Privacy manager will pilot on 1st August.
5. DevOps Center:
The DevOps center helps the developer understand and manage changes in the Application right from the development phase by integrating the core platform and development tools. It will be a better substitute for the Change Set and is scheduled for a release by the end of 2020.
