How to Use "WORKBENCH" with Salesforce!
Workbench is a tool designed for administrators and developers to connect with Salesforce organizations. Salesforce Workbench provides support for the Force.com Partner, Bulk, Rest, Streaming, Metadata, and Apex APIs that allows users to describe the things, Query on the objects, Manipulate the data, Data loading, Migration in Salesforce organizations directly in their web browser with a simple user interface.

1.Login to Salesforce Workbench. Select the environment sandbox or production(developer) org.
2. After you log in, you will see a page that allows you to jump to a different option.
(A) INFO
(i) Standard and Custom Objects:- In this section, we can choose any object and the related information shows on the screen.
(ii) Metadata Types and Components:- In which, we can choose any Metadata Component(like Apex class, Apex Page, workflow, approval etc) and the related information shows on the screen.
(iii) Session Information:- In this section, we can see the current user session details.
(B) Queries
(i) SOSL:- In this section, we can select the object, fields and apply the condition's to build a SOQL query and View the records as a list, matrix format and also download the records in CSV's format.
In the same way, we can also write SOSL queries.
(C) Data
In this section, we can select the particular object and perform the following operations like insert, update, delete, undelete, upsert, purge the records and also upload the records from CSV or ZIP File We can also see the records by clicking view in Salesforce button that redirects into your org.
(D) Migration
We can retrieve the package by using package.xml and also deploy in the salesforce organization.
(E) Utilities
(i) Rest explore:- We can choose the Http method to perform on the Rest API Service.
(ii) Apex execute:- We can create ,update ,delete the records. It works same as Execute Anonymous Window.
(iii) Password Management:- We can set or reset the password of our Salesforce org.
