How to Integrate Salesforce with Magento 2?

If you are the owner or a manager of a Magento 2 store and you're seeking for information on how to integrate Salesforce CRM with your store, then this post is for you. By integrating Salesforce CRM for Store Magento 2, you can effortlessly link your data and run your business while managing all areas of your customer relationships, marketing, and advertising.

Without further ado, let's get into it.

Step 1: Sign up for Zapier and Salesforce

Just go Zapier website and make an account there. Then do the same on Salesforce website.

You basically need a connector between your Salesforce and Magento account. For the purposes of this tutorial, we'll be using Zapier, but you are welcomed to look for other alternatives as well.

Step 2: Go to Zapier to Make an Integration

After logging into Zapier, choose Make a Zap to start the integration process

Step 3: Integrate Magento with Zapier

  • Click on thechoose a Trigger App that you want to integrate. To integrate Magento, you would need to have a premium account. Choose Magento from a list of possible options.
  • After that, select Magento 2.x Trigger in the drop-down list such as new customer, then save + continue
  • Then, choose select Magento 2.x Account. Here you'll need to enter your domain, admin username and admin password
  • If everything is done correctly, you won't get any error messages and you'll see a saved integration. ClickSave + Continue

Step 4: Integrate Salesforce CRM

  • In Choose an Action Appfield, select Salesforce (note that this is also a premium option).
  • Then, select Salesforce action as create contact and click on Continue
  • Next, you need to select Salesforce account. Click on Connect an Account and follow the guide
  • Next, we need to set up a template. Choose Set up salesforce contact, where you'll need to enter your information. After that click Test and if everything is alright and press Save

  • Finally, choose Finish and set the name your zap to complete
  • Your Zap is working and it will auto-check for your Magento 2.x new customer
